KH Engineering’s in-house erection teams carry out structural steel installation on projects across Ireland, managed by dedicated Project and Site Managers from our Kildare base. All site erections are planned, documented, and executed to the same standards as our fabrication — with full method statements, risk assessments, and lifting plans prepared and shared before any team arrives on site.
Every project is assigned a dedicated KH Engineering Project Manager and Site Manager, with in-house erection crews including certified telehandler, MEWP, and banksmen — giving main contractors a single point of accountability from first lift to final fix.
For larger and international projects, our experienced installation teams are fully supported by specialist lifting equipment, allowing us to deliver fast-track erection programmes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and programme control.
The same company that fabricated your steel erects it. Our erection team knows the steel, the drawings, and the programme — reducing site queries and keeping installation moving.
Every erection contract has a named KH Project Manager and Site Manager, liaising directly with your site team from pre-start meeting to final fix.
Method statements, risk assessments, and lifting plans are prepared and submitted before site arrival. Pre-site briefings are conducted with all erection personnel on every contract.
Through our network, we can resource erection packages across Ireland, the UK, and Europe — with 150+ skilled installers and access to in-house cranes and MEWPs.
Share your structural drawings, site programme, and access requirements and we’ll come back with a clear erection methodology and price.
From pre-start planning to final structural sign-off — our erection process is managed, documented, and coordinated with your site programme at every stage.
We review the erection sequence, lifting requirements, and site access with the main contractor before mobilisation. Method statements, risk assessments, and lifting plans are submitted and agreed in advance.
All erection personnel are fully briefed on project-specific risks, procedures, and site rules before arriving on site. Safe Pass, MEWP, and plant certifications are confirmed for every operative.
Our in-house crews erect steelwork in accordance with the approved erection drawings and sequence. The Site Manager coordinates directly with the main contractor's site foreman throughout.
On completion, the erected steelwork is inspected against the structural engineer's requirements. All documentation is compiled and submitted as part of the project close-out package.
In-house erection crews, dedicated site management, and full safety documentation — managed from our Kildare base to your site nationwide.
